    Being a medical student I am big into high-lighter use. I have tried many other brands, Sharpie, bic brite-liner etc., and although some have much brighter colors(which are great) they die after less than a week of classes. These are much better! Even on a shiny smooth paper they don’t pool or smudge. I am ordering more now, just in case I lose my current set.

    Two sets of these Hi-Liters have lasted me 4 years plus 2 years of med school. They originally claimed to still work after up to a week of not being capped, which translates into many years of unfading performance if you do keep them capped.

    The thing I like about this type is that the chisel’s stroke is ~1mm wider than pretty much all other highlighters (e.g. Sharpie, Bic, generics) so that the WHOLE height of size 12 font can be highlighted without repeating the stroke. That’s the main reason I’ll keep coming back to this brand.

    The one downside of this pack is it doesn’t come with the blue highlighter–the most important color in my studying color code.

    Finally a richly colored highlighter that does NOT leach through the page.
    Can use on almost any book fearlessly.

    Love the fluorescent colors! Got these at a great price and use them every day. My sister uses them to highlight her favorite Sookie/Eric passages in the Southern Vampire Series so she can quickly find the sexy parts! :-)

    This set is ideal for back to school, or for any office needs. The color variety is good, and the highlighter ink is bright and non smearing. I like the thinner profile of these pens too.
