Let me tell you a funny story about these pens that will attest to their quality. When I was in the 8th grade, my girlfriends and I used to always joke around in science class by hiding each other’s belongings when the other was not looking. For example, if I turned around or went up to the teacher’s desk to ask a question, one of my friends would often take my binder or my pen from my desk and hide it to see how long it would take for me to notice that it was gone. Yes, it was quite immature, but we had great fun with this game. Anyways, one day when my friend Allie went up to the front of the class, I took her blue Bic Clic Stic Retractable Ball Pen from her desk and put it in my pocket. I fully intended on giving it back at the end of the class period, but she was called out early by her mother, and I went home with her pen. I absentmindedly used it for the rest of the week, and when I mentioned to her that I “accidentally stole her pen”, she told me that she didn’t care and I could keep it. This was December of ’04, and not only did I use the pen for the remaining five months of the school year, but I used it in the 2005-2006 school year as well. For awhile afterwards, I just lost this pen in the limbo that was my bedroom as a teenager. Time passed, and after cleaning out my closet one day in the fall of 2007, I randomly found this pen in an unused laundry basket. It was my junior year of high school, and I started using this pen for the first time in a little over a year. I used it periodically until my senior year in 2008, when I left it at school and it was never to be seen again. So, do the math. I used this pen off and on for FOUR years without any trouble whatsoever (except for maybe my annoying habit of losing things). Not only did this pen last me for practically my entire high school career, but it was very comfortable to write with. The ink is smooth on any type of paper, and though the ink color is definitely blue, it is dark enough to read on a page. I recommend this pen to anyone who is looking for a high quality, yet cheap writing utensil that they plan to randomly lose and discover again and again :)

This product, Bic Clic Stic pens, is one I use for a special craft project in a grief camp for children, every year. The office supply stores no longer carry it, even in their catalogues, so I am grateful to amazon for making it available.Ordering was very easy and delivery very prompt.

My order went through [...] and arrived the next day. Free Shipping. Northern California. Actually, 29 hours after the order was placed. Impressive.

As for the pens, I lose them before the ink runs out. I’ve also noticed that they work and last longer than any single ten or twenty dollar pen.
