My daughter is in the 7th grade and had 3 Z binders this year, each less durable than the one before. The 1st one lasted half the school year before the netting along the zippers started shreading. The second only a few months before the same failure. The 3rd started falling apart within weeks. I really wanted to give the item a fair try since it’s the only item of it’s kind and my daughter really finds it convenient. However with the frequency of failure I don’t see a reason to consider purchasing this product again.

great product great price. well made. bought another one after seeing the quality. my kids love them, they fit everything from thier backpack into thier case it z binder, so no more backpacks. thats huge savings right there. one z binder takes the place of two regular binders and a backpack.the z binder also keeps things much more organized. anyone with kids in school should have one or more of these.

The Z binder was impossible to find in stores, but my son HAD TO have it. It has held up pretty well so far, and it does hold everything he needs it to.

My son used this binder last year and it was fantastic. After a year of use, the binder was showing some wear. The mesh pocked on the front was torn. Some of the rings were getting a bit loose. We felt that type of wear was to be expected after a year of heavy use. Because the binder had worked so well for our son, we bought a new, “identical” binder for this year. The new binder was even the same color as last year’s.
Apparently, Case-it has decided to increase profits by reducing the quality of their product. The first thing we noticed is that the shoulder strap on the new binder is shorter. It was too short to fit my 5’10″ son even when it was expanded to its full length. That issue was solved simply by moving last year’s strap to the new binder. Three weeks later, the zipper tore away from the fabric it had been sewn to. Upon taking a closer look, we found the the fabric used in the new notebook is different from the old one. The new fabric is a looser weave and more prone to ripping. Despite being an accomplished seamstress, I can’t fix this. The problem is with the fabric not the sewing.
My son is terribly disappointed. The design of the binder was perfect for him. The shoddy quality, however, makes this product useless.
