This is a very cute lunchbox that one of my 2-year old daughters has been using for over a week already. We gave it to her a few day before she started preschool. She loved it the moment she saw it and tried to stuff her toys in there and carry it around. Every morning the girl insists on carrying the lunchbox into the class by herself.
It is big enough to fit some food in plastic containers, a sippy cup, and an icepack.

My daughter started using this box for her preschool lunches when she was 3 and is still using it now at 6. Though the lunchbox is still in good condition, she wants a new one for first grade because this one is too “babyish” in her opinion (and that of her classmates) because the lovely little squares and rectangles on the front with images of flowers, etc. have numbers in them (numbers being *so* preschool, apparently). But I would defitely buy another Crocodile Creek lunch box. I pack her lunches in little rectangular plastic containers that I have only been able to find in store brand versions (not Ziploc or Glad) of the “disposable” (though I re-use them forever) plastic storage containers they sell in the grocery store. But I have found two different store brands of these containers, 6 of which can fit in this lunchbox, if necessary (though her lunches usually use 3 plus a small bottle of milk and an ice pack, all of which easily fits inside, along with some string cheese tossed in for good measure).

Size is just right. My child loves the cover design. The zipper is a little hard for my child to manage.

Nicely made lunchbox that is lead free. Good size yet lightweight enough to be carried by my preschooler.

I bought this for my daughter who goes to a pre-school where I pack her lunch. It is so much cutier in person then the picture! It also has had its share of being dropped and is very durable. The items stay cold as well. If I ever need to purchase a lunch box again it will be this brand.
