Exactly what I was looking for. Super smooth writing & I was happy to find that all of the pens worked. Perfect for those who love to write in different colors!

I am a sophomore in college, and I spend the majority of my class time taking notes in an attempt to remember information for tests, quizzes, and final exams. For this purpose, I must have a pen that will not smear when I close my notebook, is dark enough to read on paper, and is comfortable to write with for an extended period of time (sometimes an entire 180 minute class period). The Pentel R.S.V.P brand of pens meets all of these expectations and more. Not only are they comfortable to write with and easy to read on paper, but these pens are also very attractive. I don’t know about any other students out there, but when it comes to study time, I HATE reading boring dark notes against a white sheet of paper. I find it much easier to study if my notes are written in rich green, pink, purple, and blue colors. My only complaint about this particular package of pens–and it’s a silly one– is that my orange pens always go unused. I most commonly use the purple, blue, and black colors for school work because they are the easiest for my professors to read. The red is used for grading papers or writing important dates in my agenda. The light blue, green, and pink are used to take notes in my own personal notebooks that are not being turned in for a grade. But I can’t find any use for the orange pen. Maybe it is just my poor eyesight, but I find this pen to be incredibly bright for any kind of writing–academic or otherwise. It is just such an ugly neon color that whenever I purchase these packages of pens, I often just give it away to someone else or keep it in my purse for one of those “OMG, all of the pen factories in the universe just exploded, and I have absolutely nothing else to write with” moments. If you are the black-and-blue-ink-only kind of person, Pentel also sells a more conservative package of pens with only those shades, and they work great as well. I have a black fine point Pentel R.S.V.P pen that I have used regularly for the last two years, and it is still going strong. Overall, I recommend these pens to anyone who likes a little something extra in their writing. Don’t like them? My absolute favorite brand of pens, Papermate, has a lot of choices as well ;)

The Pentel R.S.V.P. BallPoint Pens are my favorite pens! I received a pack with assorted colors and now every time I go to write something, I feel like a kid who just got new school supplies. I love the way my handwriting looks.

I use these pens almost exclusively. They have a good grip and write well. Very smooth.

I am one of those people who likes writing in color – the brighter the better. So when I ran out of my usual colored pens and found that my local stores no longer carry them, I decided to give the Pentel R.S.V.P. Colors Ball Point Pens a try – and they are great!

I was concerned that they may write like gel pens, which have a tendancy to bleed through to the back of each page (making it impossible to use both sides of the paper) – but although they have the “ease of writing” like a gel pen, there’s no bleed through. And the colors in this pack are great!

Overall, I would highly recommend these pens to anyone who enjoys adding color to their writing. Although they are a bit more expensive than what I used to pay for colored pens, they are definitely worth it.
