Product writes very well – just does not write for long. The amount of ink in the barrel of the pen is a lot less than it looks – 3 of the pens used so far (in 3 hours of use over a 2 week period) ran completely out of ink. For the price I am very disappointed in the product. I recommend you try another brand.

These are the best pens I have ever used. I’m a college student, and back in high school spent years nursing a wrist that literally ached after a long day in class scribbling down notes with a cheap ballpoint pen. I was pressing way too hard in an effort to make the ink come out, and it was taking a physical toll on me. Then a friend lent me her pen one day to write something down at an assembly, and as cheesy as it sounds, it seriously changed my life.

Pilot G2s are, without a doubt, the best pen on the market. I can’t even tell you what a difference they’ve made for me. The ink just flows out of the pen, no need to press down hard on the paper. I have had no trouble with my wrist hurting since I started using these — even on those days when, between all of my classes, I take nearly a hundred pages of notes. They don’t leave those weird blobs of ink on the page that some other gel pens do, they’re comfortable to grip, and, in this case, they come in awesome colors! I cannot say enough good things about these pens. They may seem a little pricey, which would normally scare a poor college student like me away, but they really do last a good long time and you will love every minute of using them.

    Pros:
    long lasting
    reliable
    vibrant colors
don’t have to apply much pressure for the ink to start flowing (unlike ballpoints)

    Cons:
since they’re gel pens, the ink does take a few seconds to dry so it can smear if you’re not careful

    Overall:
I highly recommend the Pilot G2 pens- the best pens I’ve found for the price.

I have searched a few stores for a good set of ink pens before I found these pens online and I was even more surprised with how good the pens work the very first time I used them. The ink keeps at an even flow which is very nice and the variety of colors are nice as well. I now have enough pens to keep at my desk, near the phone as well as in my handbag and it will be ahile before I run out of pens since these have a lot of ink in them. I’ll be buying more of these next time I need ink pens.

I use the G2 blue normally but when I am working on various topics I like to use different colors to point out certain areas of comment. These pens fit the bill. The G2 pens are super, if they seem to run out and there is ink in the barrel, shake the pen and voila it’s back to life
