This was a required book for my son over the summer before his sophomore year of high school pre-calculus, honors. He is finding it easy to review, to self-teach, and to navigate his summer assignments. When he does have a question about a problem or two, they are written well enough for us (his parents) to help with a solution.

As a math tutor I am always “on the lookout” for good problems for my Algebra students. I have several copies of this book and loan them out to students that need solved problems to practice techniques.

This text was required for a graduate level math class. I ordered it before the class started and wish I had waited. I didn’t find this useful at all. I found more useful information on the internet (for free).

I used this book to study for a placement test to get into college Calculus. I am preparing to be a graduate student and had not been in college for over 6 years. this book was the perfect starting point to review all the material covered up to calculus. It starts from basic arithmetic all the way to pre-cal and trigonometry. any problems i could not figure out how to solve i asked a tutor. It was great because it let me focus exactly on the topics i did not know well – the result – i aced the exam and got an A in calculus. now im in calc 2 and doing well.

I ordered the item and never received any notice to pick it up whatsoever. I just learned later from my email that I will be reimbursed for the said item.

I tried to track it down at first and found out that it was delivered, but there’s no one at home. Usually the person who deliver puts a note on the door but I did’nt get it.

Anyways, it was already reimbursed. So there’s no problem.
