Toledo Public Schools suspending 'Head Start' programs starting Monday

The move will begin on Monday, December 1. The district made the announcement on Sunday afternoon. The district says they made the decision after continued delays in receiving its award notification for the upcoming federal funding cycle. The move will impact over 1000 Toledo Public Schools families and over 100 employees. TPS says it is continuing to lobby federal delegates and government agencies to expedite the release of the grant notification. The district originally announced their plan to suspend the programs on November, 12 just before the end of the federal government shutdown, in order to give parents time to make alternate arrangements. Hancock County VFW post donates $30K to six area school districts

Middle school students join veterans for Bowling Green ceremony

Sylvania Schools to appoint longtime administrator as next superintendent

Adrian woodworking school receives $12M state grant for expansion
